8ft x 6ft Dutch BarnOur fantastic range of Summerhouses, Chalets, Gazebos and Garden Offices are handcrafted here at our Melrose workshop in the Scottish Borders. They are constructed from quality Scandinavian FSC grade timber throughout (No Chipboard or OSB here!). All have a tall 6ft eave height with 20mm tongue & groove roof and floor.

All our different models are available with a choice of external cladding, either 12mm Shiplap tongue and groove (16mm nominal) which is treated with Barrettine Premier Wood Preserver which enhances both the quality and the appearance of the building in keeping with the high standard of construction throughout.

Our 18mm Loglap tongue and groove (22mm nominal) cladding provides an unsurpassed finish to our superior range and can be pressure treated as an optional extra, we would still recommend that you treat your Summerhouse annually to maintain the quality of finish of your structure.

8ft x 8ft Corner ChaletAll our Summerhouses, Chalets, Gazebos and Garden Offices come complete with Chalet doors and windows which have Pilkington 4mm optifloat safety glass as standard (No Styrene or Horticultural Glass here!).

Ornamental door furniture with keylocks again, are fitted as standard and opening windows can be ordered as an optional extra.

Our Summerhouses, Chalets, Gazebos and Garden Offices are finished with good quality mineral felt as standard, if you are in an exposed location we can offer storm strips which help to secure the felt. If you want to really look the business, you can request Felt Shingles in a range of different colours or even a ‘Sedum Living Roof' which looks fantastic and encourages wildlife into your garden.

If you are looking for the ‘WOW' factor why don't you request a ‘Sedum Living Roof' which looks incredible and provides an attraction for wildlife in your garden. It consists of a special matting with up to eight different varieties of sedum which will grow quite happily on your shed roof.

8ft x 6ft Lomond ChaletPlease request the style of Summerhouse, Chalet or Gazebo and indicate which size would suit you, remember don't feel you have to ‘make do' with an ‘off the shelf size', let us manufacture one that is tailored to your requirements.

We also provide an excellent bespoke service for our customers who spend a little more time in their Summerhouse, Chalet, Gazebo or Garden Office. We can increase your framing size to accommodate insulation, raise eave heights to enable you to have timber ceilings and clad walls internally to give you a fantastic finish inside.

One of the secrets to a long lasting Summerhouse is the base. Get it level and you can forget about problems like dropping doors and bouncy floors! All our sheds come complete with pressure treated bearers which keeps your Summerhouse 1 ½" off the ground, which lets the air circulate underneath the Summerhouse reducing any dampness from the ground.

We also offer a Peg Base which consists of pressure treated posts driven into the ground and pressure treated bearers made into a frame the same size as your Summerhouse floor, this is levelled up by our team of experienced shed erectors and your Summerhouse floor is screwed down to it, (this provides additional strength if you are in an exposed area).

8ft x 6ft Solar CabinYou can collect your Summerhouse from our base here in Melrose, have it delivered by us or have it delivered and erected by our teams of experienced shed erectors.

Your Summerhouse is delivered flat packed for ease of transport and we use exterior woodscrews to fix all the components together, making it easy to move in the future should you move house or sell it to replace it for a different or larger model.
